my first foray into real web development is complete. Click on over to www.decanuts.com {edit www.decantus.com}and tell me what you think. Be gentle, as I'm still getting used to things...;)

you put your link wrong :D
Your link to "Pictures" is wrong:
http://www.decantus.com/htdocs/Pictures/pictures.htm
Don't really think you meant to put that /htdocs/ in there did ya? :D
The design looks really good, and loads fast (even on a dialup), even faster than the "old" version did.
My only real complaint is that the content frame is a bit large for the 800x600 screen resolution on the recordings and members pages. Your "About Us" content fits nicely in the frame at 800x600 though.

This is what I see so far,
You have horizontal scrolls on pages members and recordings, you need to get them smaller and the font smaller and this should fix that. Also the pictures page is a 404 page not found, need to fix the link there.
Maybe another suggestion is to make your menu on the left side a bit smaller and make the frame a little smaller and it will help with some of the space and the scrolls that are seen.

D'oh...:p
Actually, that was a pretty good statement of my state of mind when I took the new stuff live.

Nope. :D Stupid dreamweaver (yeah, that's it, it's DREAMWEAVER's fault:D )

Thanks!

That's the next thing I plan on tackling. I pretty much kept the layout of the old version, the person that handled it before I did used WORD as their HTML editor. That's probably why it's much faster now...
Thanks for the comments, y'all!:D

I liked it. Short, simple, and sweet. Nothing too complicated to detract from what I interpret your message to be.
I agree with the previous posts re: frame width consistency. Should be an easy fix with the aforementioned ideas.
Nice.
