BB Database Help

Well, you could say I'm a n00b at mySQL and php, in which I am...

I just installed phpBB2, and now I am just about to finish the installation, but I dont know the DSN or where I can figure out my Database Username...

If anyone could give me a clue on to what they are, I would gladly appreciate it, thanks...

From your question, I'm pretty sure you have'nt ordered mysql DB in OPS. You will need to, $10 one time fee. After you do that, you will have a mysql tab in OPS. You then will have to assign a user with password.

That is the info you need for the install.

I will probably just order it anyway...

Yes, Ikonboard runs with a flatfile DB. No mysql required. Later you could upgrade to mysql with it.
