Hello,
As a prospective new user of powweb, my interest is in whether my powwebEXAMPLEONLY(( http://my.hostname.ext ))website will allow for the (namestring)".world" file type and its subsidiary file types, label.rwx, label.rwg, label.mov, label.cmp, label.wav,mp3,jpg,gif,bmp etc. etc.

the designated transport isEXAMPLEONLY(( http://my.host.ext/WorldFolder/name.world ))
and subfolders
EXAMPLEONLY((
http://my.host.ext/WorldFolder/tex,)) /wav, etc.

initial file requests draws upon the entrance world and usually on sublevel of files to facilitate portalling to the next 3d environment but thereafter unless specific next room loading is delcared all files are demand loaded only and are also stored in a static cache at the remote users location with only modified files needing refresh unless the cachedir entire is deleted to speed java thread flow.

My present so called site active on a geocities pro installation has a list of examples of know working streaming worlds as they are refered to or dynamic worldsmarks differentiating between static worlds which must be downloaded before accessing.

Here are some Stream Examples (http://kithkin.neveryonnzz.org/neveryonnzz.html) at my geocities pages which shows at the top right a list of pages which hold URLS to servers capable of offering these file types, from lycos, to freeserve to attbi, and one or two pc's driving dynamic dns

Here is a detailed .Help File of the Shaper Product (http://www-static.us.worlds.net/private/GammaDocs/WorldsShaper/1857_WS.html) which is used to generate worlds by java construction.

at the bottom left are some static or downloadable worlds .

Note that the world named Polymatrixdragon i have successfuly streamed on dialup using falcon webserver and dns2go

My question over all then and make my choice of powweb yes or no is can I put polymatrixdragon . worlds and or other such worlds onto powweb in such a streaming environment or not?

Thank you all in advance for an already recognized superior product and here is hoping i have found a solution that will give me multi builder collaboration and file serving abilities on the powweb framework

Please do not multi post a problem. I deleted the one in the graphics forum.

EDIT: I think one of the experts needs to take a look at this.

Not sure if it can be done here. I would think it to be to resource intensive. ::shrugs::

be patient, someone will check in soon. Or you can email qa@powweb.com to have them check your site to see if it's compatible with Powweb.

Good Luck!
