I've just upgraded my OS and had to reenter the FTP Site Info using the FTP program that came with my CuteSITE Builder program and it's worked before but this time I'm getting "Error getting local site information. Path not found."
What am I doing wrong?
The site info I'm entering is:
Site Name - Thisildo Realm
Website Address- http://thisildorealm.com
FTP Host Address - pulsar.powweb.com
FTP Directory - htdocs
my FTP User Name
my FTP Password
Default Filename - index.html
Thanks.

Ensure you are connected to the net first
Try http://www.thisildorealm.com ?

Yes, connected to the web. Nope, adding the www doesn't work - still get the same error message.... :::sigh:::

Xp ( Xceptionally Pathetic )
EDIT:
If you enabled the firewall or have a cable connection you could try the start> control panel> internet options> advanced tab> under "browsing" tick "use passive FTP" box, apply.

Doing the Happy Dance here! :D
It seems the little box checked by default in the program has it saving copy of exported HTML locally.
"Click on Publish > Options > HTML Directory and see if you have the 'save copy of exported HTML locally' enabled, and if so, if the target list is invalid. Try disabling this option and attmept to republish."
With this disabled, the site publishes.... well... it will once it gets past the "Error connecting to FTP Server at pulsar.powweb.com." <g> At least I'm not getting the Path not found error and that's definitely something! ;o)
Thanks for your help Croc Hunter! Much appreciated :D
