One of my coworkers shared this little free program with me that you can use to code repetitive task. You set up the common coding task that you have to do over and over and over in a list.

After you do the initial setup, then you just open the program. Open the document that you want to work on. Hit assigned keystroke that auto enters the code that you have assigned to that keystroke. Once you get the hang of it is very easy to use and cut way down on my typing mistakes. Works with any text document.

May be of interest to the hand-coding snobs. ;)

Hi alpadesk,

Went to your mentioned program, and yes it looks good - but what kept me from downloading it was the limit of 35 "shortkeys" / macros. To be honest, not enough for us hand-coding snobs - LOL

So for addicted snobs, maybe have a look at Speed-typing?

Only 140 kb download, tiny footprint so you can leave it constantly in the tray if preferred. Have not found any max shortkey limit so far...
