Database etc.

I'm completely new to this whole php thing, and I was wondering if you guys could help me get it installed. I'm trying to use Agora as the backbone to my site, but I have no idea how to install it.

I've uploaded it, and I've also tried to run the setup through setup.php, but it keeps saying that it can't connect to the database. I'm pretty sure it's because I just haven't created the database yet, but I don't have any idea how to go about doing it.

It looks like you are going to have to reach for your Credit Card and shell out the $10 required to set up MYSQL before you go any further....

If you already did that, then try downloading http://www.mattsscripts.co.uk/mpanel.htm and set up your database from there.

I have MYSQL 2000. Is there another version that is recommended or is this preferred?
