View Full Version : Network Outage (UNPLANNED)
Due to an issue regarding our facilities; there was a brief (20 MIN) outage.
Our admins are currently working to make sure all services and servers are restored.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
So far, it seems the facilities (entire building) had a power failure. The backup generators we're unable to restore power due to the severity of the outage.
This kind of outage is a first as far as the facilities is concerned and they assure us the likelihood of it happening again is remote.
Our admins are currently at the facilities making sure service is restored to all servers.
Once we know more, we will let you know.
From Internap:
On Wednesday, April 16th at 14:08 PDT, the Internap NOC was alerted to a power outage at the Internap colocation facility in LAX. Internap has been contacted and they state they are working on the issue, but do not yet have an estimated time of repair.
Follow up from our providor:
At 14:44 PDT our power was restored to the Internap colocation facility. Internap states they are now running on a backup generator. The commercial power to the facility has not yet been restored. We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
