View Full Version : another Bryce building...
...anyone remember when I said I'd start making Bryce buildings and making em freely available? Well, I did one and a half, and then kinda got interested in other stuff. Anyway, I finally got around to getting back to it, and have my results. My second building is a bit more realistic.
To get the .obj file and look at my renders, go here:

yay! The lobby could use more work, if anyone wants to give it a try.
Me like a lot!!! :)
I'm gonna have to get into this Bryce thing..I'm liking how it renders images
It is much easier to use than 3D Studio.......Right?!
err, I guess. I don't know how to use 3d Studio. :) Actually, yea, I'd have to say yes. I played with 3d studio a little bit and couldn't figure it out at all. Bryce is a lot more user friendly.

well i tried to set up a scene but wow this building is way to complex for me !! i couldn't get the camera in the correct position in the lobby. Do a br5 scene file with the camera in position as for the lobby shot and i will se what i can do with the lightning
ok. Get it here:

That's the .br5 file with the camera positioned inside the lobby. Hmmm...it's the director camera, rather than the actual camera. Is that ok?

ok i will have a look this weekend, got a bit of a problem as my pc died. Absolutely nothing when i switch on, no POST, it hung during some heavy video conversion and there was some really weird smells coming from the case. I have since "aquired" my boy's pc which is twice as powerful as mine :D
If it had been the hard drive i would have lost a lot of data since i am behind on my back ups, however hard drives are cheap compared to the processor and or mother board which i think must have gone
i noticed on power up that the cpu fan does not spin, so perhaps just the pro went and the MB could be salvagable
possible. don't give up on it. It could've been the power supply too, which is cheap and easy to replace. Hope for the best. I've been through similar things, so I definetely feel your pain. Good luck with that. :)
