I hear that the search engines do not like it if more than the front page is submitted yet I have seen web sites where they have multiple pages appear when a search is done. Why is that? Does it pay to have key words on all pages?

Just thought I would ask.

hi tcjay,

Not all search engines are created equal. Google wants only your root domain. Others allow submission of many pages.

Make sure you have Title, keywords, description and robot meta tags in all your pages to cover all bases.

Some things not to do are.
1. Don't submit more than once a month.
2. Don't use keywords that are not in your text body of your page.
3. Don't repeat keywords more than three times.

Make the words flow from your title>keywords>description>body text and the robot will say YES this is what this page is about.

Also try to use keyword phrases.

Here is a good place to start learning what and how to do for Google.

Yahoo-Only submit once to one catergory, if your not listed in 6 months try again. Make Yahoo mad and you'll never get in!
