Hi there!
I just got a Linux box today and I'm in need of a FTP client for it, I know that you can use the "command-line" version that comes with the system but, I am a noob at this yet.

Recomendations please!

BTW: This is a RedHat 9.0 machine

I like gFTP (http://gftp.seul.org/).

If you want, you can also download wine (http://winehq.org) and run your favorite Windows FTP client. Most of them should work.

Have fun! :D

Sorry, But I'm a command line kind of Guy, but as 'The Visitor' stated, gFTP is a nice front end, if you're using one of the graphics (KDE, GNOME). If you haven't tried it, I encourage KDE 3, I set it up and even my wife can use it, and wants me to change her Win98 box to Linux/ KDE now.

I do use KDE, I used the command-line startin, but it got hard as hell to type commands for every single thing... Thanks for the gFTP link, it works great for my projects. I was also looking for Wine but couldn't find it, thanks.

one last thing, I strongly think:
