FTP problem - disc quota exceeded

Hiya :)

I'm trying to FTP new pages and my WS_FTP95 comes up:

"Error 450: Error during write to file: Disc quota exceeded"

my site is about 120 megs so I know I'm not over 500 megs

unfortunately my control panel doesn't show the usage, instead showing "Used N/A MB"

my webstats go back as far as Oct 2002 - could they be filling up 380 megabytes? the access_log file says its 16574707 in size, the access_log.zip file is 2799238 Kb

I have three sites, and the other two are uploading fine. I can't see anything else which is taking up unusual space

There is also a limit on the number of files - 15000, if I recall.

thanks - the files that I'm uploading are smaller than that. In fact they are compressed versions of ones that already exist.

oh, I misread your post - I thought you meant size - you say we are allowed 15000 files


I've deleted files, yet it still wont let me upload

I'm trying to send files to replace older files, so I'm not increasing the number of files

mmmmmm, even after deleting files to get below this suggested maximum, I still cant FTP

it stops at 16896 bytes every time

Methinks there be a problem with the server. We are getting the same results with our site (fieropride.com).

Maybe someone can shed some light on this?

My site has total number of files less than 9000 & the total size is under 200 MB.

I'm also on lunar, and having the same problems. My Ikonboard quits because of a disk quota error, and Greymater won't let people post comments. Why do these problems pop up all of the time?

Admins are rebooting lunar and terra right now. Should clear your problems up.

I can transfer files now!

so I'm not sure what size my site is anymore
the FTP info is still coming up as:
Status active
Quota 500 MB
Used N/A MB

the access_log file is now 19175626, compared to 16574707 in size 10 hours ago, but I s'pose thats normal

My Website, Soilscontrol.net has a blank page and I have tried refreshing the site twice now without clearing up the problem...

So is this actually a PowWeb problem that is causing me to needlessly use my upload quota?

Everything seems to be working now. BUT !

I lost all my webstats history, as due to the error the index file size went to "0", and I dont have any backup of it!

How can I get my history back? the index file !

Even the http://www.indianceleb.com/webstats/usage_200305.html has lost all the data :( ....
