need help for a quote on a web design job. Just rough estimate and just per page

I just received a job today and this is my first freelance job. I thought it was to be a simple site of up to 6 pages utilizing a site style template. With that in mind I quote $300.00 up to 6 pages. I received the outline of what they wanted and it is much more than a site that is more for a small business with up to 6 pages. Therefore, could anyone out there give me a rough estimate of what they would charge for a website that is for a Church and is comprised of the following pages (updating and maintenance a separate issue and do not consider for this rough estimate) All copy will be sent via e-mail to paste in, all digital photos sent via e-mail.

17 pages with 1 photo on each page utilizing a site style template how much per page?

15 pages with up to 3 photos a page, how much per page?

1 page with a photo gallery containing up to 50 photos, how much for this page?

1 page that accepts tidings and monetary contributions and set up with paypal. How much for this page?

$30-50 / page for these:

17 pages with 1 photo on each page utilizing a site style template how much per page?

depending how good your design skills are. The more amateur, the lower on the scale.

That depends on how you are going to be doing it. Bare bones would run $60. More if they want a script where they can add as many as the want.

Paypal has a very easy to use shopping cart system that you could use. It's all copy & paste HTML for you. The actual work is done on the paypal site.

Your pricing is very close to what I was thinking. The total I came up with was 1270.00, but then someone gave me what they would quote and he did a similiar job. He said the similiar job he bid 4,000 and other bids where 6,000-10,000. He got the job, so he said abuot 3,350.00 he would quote. I am not in his position in regards to being established, and I believe he has more skill in the web design area, however, my skill in graphic design is good and have 13 years experience. So to get the job I will show some of the responses to back up my quote and exhibit that it is a low end quote, since they originally were quoted 150.00 by some flake, they did one page and they never heard from them again, I am worried they are thinking it is really low, but I quoted 300.00 for up to 6 pages amd they want me to do the job, but I don't know if they are in the 300.00 mind set, they have handed me an outline that contains 34 pages, so I guess they are expecting to pay more. I am going to bid the job at 1800.00 because I always wind up putting more into it than is necessary, or that I should. That is my own fault, but I will loose because of that fault of mine, but I won't because of the exposure, and possible referrals of the church members.
