View Full Version : Reducing a gif banner size
I have a banner that is in .gif format but it is too big to use on the standard banner ad pages which is 460X?.
Does anyone know how I can reduce the physical size of this banner keeping the same proportions?
Send it to me by email and tell me what size you want it. I will do it for you since it is easier then explaining the procedure :)

Get a copy of Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com) and you'll do it in seconds.
It's FREE by the way...........

saving the image as a .png. .png has the characteristics of a .gif, transparency if need be, but depending on the pixels content generally is a smaller file.
