3D Godzilla and King Ghidorah

With all the neat 3D stuff that's been posted and the 3D challenge that ya'll have had, I thought I'd go ahead and show a couple of things I'm working on for the Godzilla section of Monsters4u.

I'm using Carrara Studio 2 for these. Later I'll rig em with a "skeleton" for posing and maybe animating.

Here's the Heisei version of Godzilla that I finished not too long ago. Some of the texturing could stand some tweaking, but he's pretty much finished for now.

Here's a head and body shot King Ghidorah. I still have more to do to it, but this is what I have so far. I'm using features from different versions of him for this and completely remodeled the wings.

do you plan on making a animation with them like you did with the T-Rex?? caz that would rock!

I just might try animating them. But that will be a good ways away perhaps. Depends on how much time I get.
I'm hoping to do more Japanese monsters.
Godzilla's 50th anniversary is next year, and I'm trying to come up with something special to celebrate. By starting now, I might be able to do something pretty cool.

No way dude! I couldn't come no where near doing those landscapes and things you've done. But thanks for the compliment.
I sculpted King Ghidorah and Godzilla from scratch. Having reference pictures helped on details.

Small update on KG. I'm working on a rigging for the wings, so I can pose or animate them. It works, but I'm having some problems with the "skin" on the shoulder. It moves funny. Back to the drawing board.
