Unable to Upload to Newest Package

Recently registered and setup a new package, imesho.com.

I am unable to connect and upload using FrontPage because it says the server doesn't support FrontPage extensions or doesn't have them installed.

So, I tried FTP, but am unable to connect that way because the connection is actively refused. So, it's not a problem with my FP extensions (though I did reinstall, full uninstall, and install them again, just in case - no dice).

Help??

When using FP and the FP extensions to publish, your domain has to have been propagated so that you can access it directly. See http://help.powweb.com/tutorials/ftp/fp2k.php

If you use FTP, it will mess up the use of the extensions, I think. But otherwise this should work - specify the ftpxx.powweb.com server as shown in your Member Operations panel under the FTP tab, your username and password and the folder htdocs/

The domain is propogated.

And, I normally FTP using the ftpxx.domain.ext method. It's not that it's not connecting, it's that the connection is being refused.

If you are doing everything the same as usual you should try a few things:

Restart Your computer
refresh your internet connection (if you have a seperate modem)
Try a different FTP program, even if its the built in windows ftp program, just typ ftp://user@ftpxx.powweb.com into the address bar. See if that works. It could just be your program.
Make sure you are set to use Passive FTP

If any of those ideas don't work, contact support@powweb.com and ask them to check on your account status.
