Is there a problem with MySQL?

Today I've gotten the following error on my Web site a few times. I've never gotten this error before. Just wondering if there's some problem with MySQL at PowWeb. Has anyone else noticed problems?

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: in /www/x/xxxxxxxxx/htdocs/yabbse/index.php on line 50

That's all that shows up on the page. But then I hit the back button and click on the link again, and it works. So it seems to be an intermittent problem.

I'm on asteroid -- but I don't know whether MySQL is hosted on the same server. Perhaps it's on a different one?

Mine's fine now, but its been slow off and on for the past few days.
