Images not appearing on website

Hello.

I am a novice (and it shows). I can't seem to get the photos I upload to appear on my pages. Tech Support helped me with the photo on my homepage, but I must have misunderstood his instructions.

I'm especially having trouble with the "2001 christmas" page. The background and graphics won't appear (they were provided by the same graphics company).

Please help...

I would be happy to try to help, but some more info is needed to figure out what you are doing, or not doing.

Would you post the url of your site? That way I can look at the source code and check for errors.

Hi King,

Do you have the graphics uploaded to the images folder on the server. This is where the christmas page is set up to get graphics, from that folder.

I looked at the Christmas 2001 page on your site and it appears that the image files have not been uploaded to your /images/ directory. They should pull up ok after viewing your page source. Did you possibly forget to upload the images to the server??

Mark looked at your source, so I figured out how to find your site, too, and did a little directory browsing as well.

Your 2001 Christmas page calls for the gifs, one is "rgfam2001.gif". In your images directory, it is listed as "RGFAM2001.gif". Notice that it is all caps? I think you need to change the name to all lower case to match the one on your webpage's code.

That may be the only problem. If you make that change and the pics still dont show, then you need to look at the path to the pics.

Yes, indeed. If the letter case doesn't match up, then that will cause the problem. BTW, hello Ddr. Long time no talk to!!
