Computer decided not to boot one morn. I popped cover and hooked up new power supply, (ATX) when tried with this, only cpu fan whirred, no other response. So, ordered new motherboard, hooked up and hit power, only cpu fan whirred. Have since changed memory, power supply, but not cpu as don't have another for either motherboard. So, I'm open for ideas!

Thanks,

Frank

Have you removed all the components you don't need? Hell, you could try booting without RAM in the machine and see if you get a "no ram" BIOS beep. If you don't even get that much, CPU it is.

Heh...I had a CPU fry not too long ago either. Must be a conspiracy. :)
