Would anyone from Powweb care to comment on what the problem is this time??? This is getting absolutely ridiculous. Having my forums down for 1/2 hour every three to four hours is unacceptable.
Can someone please tell the users on lunar what the hell is going on?
Enough Already...

Im assuming Im on Luna because My sites aren't working either..this is making me mad...
If your MySQL database is going down every few hours it's likely due to your site exceeding the MySQL limitations, not a MySQL server problem.
MySQL database limitations: max_questions=36,000 (10 queries per second), max_connections=3,600. These limits are per-hour, per user, and were instituted to assure reliable database operations for all clients. If your site exceeds these limits, MySQL access will be disabled until usage falls below the limits for a 60 minute period.

Oh no don't you give me that..I just called customer service and they said I wasn't near my limit..given that there are many of us with these problems, it appears its a problem with powweb..don't play that with me.

Actually, it's not exceeding limitations. The only time it exceeds limitations is when your server doesn't reset counts each hour. Then I have to wait till it finally resets, but that's another story entirely. Let me post some of the errors that my vBulletin forum has been sending me.......
Database error in vBulletin :
Link-ID == false, connect failed
mysql error: Lost connection to MySQL server during query
mysql error number: 2013
Database error in vBulletin :
Link-ID == false, connect failed
mysql error: Can't create a new thread (errno 35). If you are not out of available memory, you can consult the manual for a possible OS-dependent bug
mysql error number: 1135
Database error in vBulletin :
Link-ID == false, connect failed
mysql error: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'lunar.powweb.com' (60)
mysql error number: 2003
Database error in vBulletin 2.3.0:
Invalid SQL: UPDATE session SET lastactivity=1057013858,location='/arachnoboards/index.php?s=' WHERE sessionhash='0d70fd58f794a7d274ae54519926d23c'
mysql error: MySQL server has gone away
mysql error number: 2006
Could you tell me where those say anything about exceeding my limits. Also, seeing as I have alot LESS users and alot LESS activity on my vBulletin forum, which happens to be the same exact one that I'm replying to you on, why don't you ever Exceed these limits???

Arachnopets,
Its obvious to me that they don't want to face up to the fact that they have problems. Im weighing my options..my database was wiped out with no reason given and Im having to rebuild everything..I Just want to scream right now...
