Just stumbled upon this one and it seems to work great for backing up and restoring mysql databases:

MySql Snap 1.0 (Freeware):

MySql Snap 2.0 (Commercial):

I installed this product and I am trying to understand it now. I ran a dump and it seemed to go fine. My question is..........how do you get it to restore?

I can't seem to get it to make a local connection.

Everything else seems to be straight forward

Any help would be appreciated!

While I'm not sure how to insert the data back (I don't use that program), you might want to try out mySQL Front. It's extremely simple to use.

Mysql front is propably the simplest around - in my opinion... have to agree with Xinil.

Don't be lazy. At least try google for yourself before asking others to do it for you.

(sorry, not trying to be harsh)
