I turned on SSL but I lost the URL it showed me (it wasn't working at the time anyways). I need to host an image using SSL, that's it. I don't need to do anything else with SSL on the site (at least not as of right now). I just need the image to be hosted using SSL for a paypal buy now thing.

How do I do this? Thanks.

Go to the SSL tab in your Member Operations panel - it will give you the base URL. Then just add on your image, for example,
https://servername.powweb.com:12345/image.gif

Log into OPS. Click on the appropriate package. Click on the SSL tab. It'll tell you what your SSL URL is.

thanks. that works. It is possible to have an SSL URL that is at my own domain name?

Not at the present time. PowWeb is, we have been told, developing a way to allow you to purchase and install your own SSL certificate. This would be required in order to use your own domain name.

umm yeah..

well my SSL doesn't work real well...

why??

you tell me:

or (https://cepheid.powweb.com:9231/) or [these are just .htaccess redirectors to the real HTTPS url]

whats' the go?? any ideas.. there's been no .htaccess changes since last week.. in fact.. up till I also used my SSL address for paypal [haha coincidence hey?] to setup: (http://secure.the-spectrum.org) well yeah.. weird hey?..

Anyway.... it'll auto-fix like most probs on powweb :P
