Hi All,

I forgot to back up my database when i was moving through ops and now I guess its gone.. I heared that powweb has the back up copy and they will give us copy of our database for 10$? If that's true please let me know what's the procedure to get it?

Here is my info...

website is http://www.yamladesi.com/desiforum
server from where I moved was "pulsar" and its not accessible now.... I had 20mb of database. I will appreciate if I get help for this because my site is down....

Thanks!

May be easier - quicker to email support: support@powweb.com as they would be the ones that would need to address this.

They never get any reply, I'd sent like 3 of them already and none of them get reply.

Powweb should have a backup copy of your database for one week after you lost yours.

Get a hold of powweb ASAP (PHONE!) so you can get your database before that week is up. I learned the hard way. :(

Why would them saving backups be stupid? I could understand them charging a fee for it... to encourage people to keep their own backups.

Yes I have...Do as it says and email nick@powwweb.com

He will restore your DB as soon as he can.

Make sure you enter your DB name and domain name.

Let me add, I broke my own golden rule to backup before doing anything major. That won't happen again ;)
