Compaq 1620 Laptop won't boot

I have a Compaq 1620 laptop that will not boot. I get a series of beeps. 11- long and 3- short. Does anyone know the meaning of the beeps? I looked on the net but couldn't locate these beep codes.

those beeps codes should stand in the manual.

maybe ram or something is not insertet corretcly? :\

I'd try reseating the RAM first. Compaq notebooks are, IMO, the most difficult to work with.
