IP of webmail.powweb.com?

Can someone tell me the IP address of the webmail.powweb.com server? I think my work blocks any domains with "webmail" in them. I would like to try entering the IP address instead to work around this.

Or in ops under the DNS tab, you could make a new cname on your domain that points to "webmail.powweb.com."

For instance, you could create a new cname called "www2" that points to "webmail.powweb.com." (don't forget trailing dot) then you could go to www2.yourdomain.com and get to webmail.

Thanks for your help. I think the firewall at work blocks any domain with the word "mail" in it. So I will setup a domain like 'wm.mydomain.com' in OPS. Thanks for the IP!

Oops, so that IP address no longer works.

Its no suprise that powweb changes their mail servers from time to time.

So how can I tell the IP address of any website? If I knew how to do this I wouldn't have to bug you guys :)

Webmail is at 63.251.216.70

To find an IP address, type [b]nslookup <name>[/n]

So, for webmail, it's nslookup webmail.powweb.com

Also, you can go the other way with it too, use [b]nslookup <IP address>[/n] to get the primary name for the machine.
