If you have a flat-panel computer display that has "stuck" pixels, here's a fix that really works.
(A stuck or lit pixel leaves a tiny glowing spot on the screen that never changes color.)

To check your display for bad pixels, use this software available free, in both Mac and Windows versions, at:
http://www.ekimsw.com/lcdtest/

If you find some bad pixels, gently massage that area with a soft, clean cloth.
I had about 10 stuck pixels on my display and after using this method, they're now gone!

Sure am. I know a watchmaker who told me it would fix fine scratches on my glass watchface. I rubbed it on the watch for an hour while watching tv and hey presto they were gone. It works as a mild abrasive.

I wouldn't try it on tinted glass perspex or plastic. If your sceen is plain glass and scrathes are only fine it can't hurt. If it doesn't work at least your monitor will smell minty fresh.
