If you have a flat-panel computer display that has "stuck" pixels, here's a fix that really works.
(A stuck or lit pixel leaves a tiny glowing spot on the screen that never changes color.)
To check your display for bad pixels, use this software available free, in both Mac and Windows versions, at:
http://www.ekimsw.com/lcdtest/
If you find some bad pixels, gently massage that area with a soft, clean cloth.
I had about 10 stuck pixels on my display and after using this method, they're now gone!
