phpNUKE problem

ok, from what i've already read on teh boards this seems common, i just uploaded the phpnuke file to their own director (this is because i don't want my site to be down , and i just want to test the phpnuke system) i'm getting this error (i got teh line 88 error but fixed it cause of some database table name error)

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: themeheader() in /www/a/[fakeusernamehere]/htdocs/nuke/html/header.php on line 47

do i have to have phpnuke in the root folder for nuke to access the DB? cause if i do i might as well just give up now, lol.

also, should i have a php admin program to access the DB? because phpbb works fine without doing that.

ok...you do not need to have phpnuke in your root folder just when you are going to access it you will need to type

www.yoursite.com/foldername/index.php

that is how you will access. yes you need a mysql program like mysql-front or phpmyadmin. You will need one of those to uploed the nuke.sql which is in the sql folder. For more detailed installation information visit www.pownuke.com which is a site by Jade Dragon specificaly about hosting a phpnuke site on powweb servers.

ok, this is where i'm getting confused, i guess i don't understadn why i have to have the nuke.sql file when i already have a sql database. as i write this i'm uploading the phpmyadmin to the site so the above question is just curiousity i guess :)

you need to upload the nuke files that make nuke work...

ok i think i get it now.... (a little slow today after giving blood, they took 1quart (2 pints), the greedy bloodsuckers lol) .... now all i have to do is figure out how to get phpIRC and phpCHAT to work :)

(also still uploading phpmyadmin, stupid single isdn, hehe)
