I contacted tech support today because I could not access my account on space through ftp. A tech support rep responded by saying that he was able to access it and had no problem and even uploaded a file (test.html) to the directory.
Now I am getting "permission denied" error messages. I need to access this ftp sometime this week. This is crazy! I have already sent numerous emails to tech support to no avail!
Is this for houstoncountyweb.com? The logs show someone (not from PowWeb) logged in less than 20 minutes ago...

Well, I have lost access to this site. I need some help. The man named Brian said he accessed the account and I have not been able to make updates since. Can you help?

OPS.powweb.com says that the main user does not own the directory. It has never said this befrore and I never had this problem until Powweb accessed the account earlier today when I placed a tech support ticket for something else earlier today.
I received an email from Brian in Tech support that said he was able to access it and uploaded a file. Now, I cannot and everytime I try to upload I get "permission denied."
As usual, though, I am still awaiting a response. Have been emailing for over an hour or so now.

Can I get a reponse Powweb?
You didn't say you couldn't upload, you said you didn't have access...those are two different problems.
This has to go through the helpdesk. If you've already sent it to support you'll have to wait until it gets sent up to an admin for attention.

You have got to be kidding me? I had a problem which needed SUPPORT and I sent it to SUPPORT. They need to let me know where to send the problem.
We are going on 3 hours that I have not been able to upload.
Typical
No, I'm not kidding. If you sent it to support, that's the right place. You'll have to wait for a response, or for someone to move it up the chain if support can't fix it.

Well, someone at Powweb (namely Brian) did something when he accessed the ftp on my account which caused it to give me permission errors when I attempt to upload. It briefly allowed me earlier and when I tried to upload a file, it reverted back to the permission errors and now I have a blank page when you click on the link I was trying to upload.
It seems to me that someone at Powwb needs to get their collective head out of their butt and correct whatever problem they originally created when they accessed my ftp.
I do NOT think that is asking to much, but for Powweb, it may be. Who knows?
I see your email is already in an admin's box...I have added a note further explaining the problem.
