I went through the Auto Install. I ended up with the files in a little different structure than suggested. I have an osCommerce directory - then the catalog & admin directories are at the same level - I'm not ready to "launch" in my root directory and wanted to work on cusomizing it first.
It looks like:
htdocs
osCommerce
catalog
admin
I'm able to view the catalog by typing in the address
www.yourdomain.com/osCommerce/catalog/default.php
And view the admin panel with
www.yourdomain.com/osCommerce/admin
BUT, when I click on the link within the ADMIN panel, (e.g. configure) I receive a page not found error. Is this an error in my configuration or did I miss a step?
EDITED to add: Yes, I see that the path it is searhing for is
catalog/admin ........
So, now I wonder what is the easiest way to fix that. Should I change all my links, re install. I tried to move the admin folder & it wouldn't go. Maybe I should try again.
THANKS
Anne
