Log Files - Deleting?

Hey, I was wondering if their was any harm done in deleting the logs/access_log.txt and other stuff in the logs/ from FTP... I was hoping this would just clear all the info, so I can have a clean access record. Is their any harm done in doing this? Are they constantly updated? Does transfer from your FTP account (IE: Downloading the Log File to your computer) count in your transfer ammount (the 12 gig limit)? Thnx

Anything done via FTP counts towards the 12Gig Limit. You can delete the log files as new ones will be created.
