What happens when you go passed your 12 gig limit, I thought I saw it in the policy, but thought I would just ask here anyway. Do you just Automatically start getting charged for the new gigs, or do you have to accept an agreement or something... I'm getting rather worried, my site has used 3.5 gb in about a lil over a week... I'd rather not have the person paying for the site suddenly see 80$ extra on his credit card bill because we went 10 gigs over the limit, and the webhost didn't mind telling us before they started charging us.

If you expect that you will use up 12 GB limit I can advise that you sign a special form that you agree to be charged for an additional bandwidth and fax it to PW beforehand. Because when your traffic on the average will be more 400MB/day you will receive notification from PW and you will have to fax this form to PW within 24 hrs or your account will be suspended. You can ask the support about the URL where you can find this form.

Powweb's packages are not very suitable for sites that have such extreme resource needs as your does.

If you’re currently using roughly 10.5 GB per month from the get go, you don’t have much growing room before your paying $8 per GB over the 12 GB limit.

If $ is no object, please, be our guest and sign up, but if you expect your site to become even more popular, you could see additional monthly service charges that come to more that it would cost you to host your own managed dedicated server.

If you search around the forum a bit, you will find quite a few threads on this very subject.

ok, was just wondering, because we're using about 3/4 a gig a day :)
