removing shortcuts from desktop

Shortcuts from my website keep appearing on my desktop. I delete them & they come right back or others take their place. Can anyone help?

What type of shortcuts from your website are these? Are they URL's or what?

You might want to get and run Spybot (http://security.kolla.de/) to see if you have any hidden spyware/adware on your computer.

They are shortcuts to images & files on my FrontPage 2000 localhost. They are not always the same shortcuts, they vary. This is driving me crazy.

Thanks to all that answered my posts with suggestions. I downloaded Spybot & it took care of the problem. Must have had a virus or something in the computer. The shortcut problem was tied in with the toolbar problem. Everything is okay now. :D
