Its a nice design,but the text is a tadbit small....

it might be small, but I tend to dislike sites with large type, its distracting and sometimes looks tacky... but thanks for the input!

I would have to agree with the comment about the text size. In order to read the text I have to increase IE's font size to largest. While a large font size isn't best, you might try at least a 10pt verdana. I personally would leave a site where I couldn't read the text.

Also, the backround itself is distracting. When I try to focus on the text, my eyes get pulled away by the background. Possibly toning down the background (making it a bit more transparent) would make the text easier to read.

After taking a stroll around your site, it seems that your site is for you and your friends to meet and have a good time. You are not selling any products or services so who cares what other people think. What do you and your friends think and like! just have fun with it.

It is a nice modern design.

Very nice! I like the descriptive text which accompanies the artwork in the gallery. The text size didn't bother me but, then again, I always have IE text size set at "larger" to allow me to not wear my tri-focals while using the computer. Good luck with your studies and enjoy London; it's a fabulous place to visit.

I love it.

It's true, the text is tiny, and at first i wondered why i had to try and read it through the transparent background. But then i decided i'll put up with the tiny text for the luxury of a unique design and a site that is very eye pleasing.

You're an artist, do what you want, and the heck with anybody who doesn't "get" it.
