Can anyone else see the test database on comet?

I recently set up a database at PowWeb on the comet server and installed the phpmyadmin software to maintain it.

After I got everything up and running I noticed had access to a database called test that I don't own.

I thought it was a demo of some sort but now a few weeks later I see this test database has more tables and entries. I'm starting to think I have access to someone elses database and if so then perhaps someone has access to mine. Not good.

Can someone please put my mind at ease and let me know what this test database is all about and why I can access it?

The test database is installed by default with mysql with no access restrictions. We normally delete it, however it appears that this one was not and someone was using it. You should not be able to use anyone else's database, and no one should be able to use yours.
