It used to be that an "alias" could only be pointed to one (1) address.

Is it true that a single alias can now be pointed to up to 50 addresses? Like a mailing list?

For example, suppose my domain has a staff of 25 people who are in some way associated with web maintenance. Can I just create an alias called "webstaff@<domain>.com" and enter all their e-mail addresses and send one message to all of them at once, just like that?

I just want to know how this works.

Well, today, at my site, I went to the new control panel, edited one of my email accounts, so now, when I receive a message on it, it's delivered a copy to my inbox and another copy to an external account.
So far, it works fine. Each time an email was received, one copy was stored at my inbox and the other was received in my external email account.
Think your request should work the same.

Thanks, Andrew, for a quick and to-the-point response.

This is one change I am delighted with.
