I was wondering what the process is when someone else hosts your domain already and you want to move it to powweb. I chose the option that I already own the domain and am not sure what happens next or what I may need todo. Can someone explain the steps that will be needed to be taken.

Ok, you already bought the hosting package. In your Member Operations panel under FTP, you'll see an FTP server name. Using that server name, and your webuser username/password, upload a copy of your site contents to the htdocs folder (that is the "top level" of your web site). Use the temporary domain name given to you for checking it out. When you're happy with it, go to your registrar and change the nameserver entries to point to ns3.powweb.com and ns2.powweb.com.

Then sit back and wait for 2-3 days while the DNS changes propagate. During this time, some people will see your old site and some will see the new. After a week, you can kill off the old site.

Note - if you use FrontPage to "publish" your site using FrontPage extensions, you can't use the temporary domain name to publish.
