I'm getting this message when I try to view my website. It only seems to be happening on pages that are using php/mySQL.

----------------------------------------------------

CGIWrap Error: User not found

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CGIWrap was unable to find the user ID '132796' in the password file on this server.

Check the DOCUMENT_ROOT setting and try again.

My site has been down for 4 hours with no update on what's going on. I'd like a little help, please.

The fastest way would probably to email support@powweb.com or to call or to open a support ticket if you haven't done so already (although I'm assuming you have).

Which server are you on?

It is fairly interesting how you're getting that error, but I can access your webstats without a hitch - so apparently its not affecting your entire site.

As I said, it only has to do with a PHP / CGI error. Only pages with php on them are generating errors. And no, it's definitely NOT a php script error.

I'm on Saturn.

webstats doesn't use php, that's why it's working.

And by the way, I e-mailed support over 5 hours ago. :(

I received an e-mail from Galax at Powweb that this problem has been sent to an Administrator and he will have them correct it for me. I got this e-mail at 11:15pm. I also called powweb about this problem in hopes that they would do something about it.

It is now 1:20 and my website is STILL NOT WORKING! What the hell? WHERE IS MY SUPPORT? It's been down for almost 24 hours. What crap.

I realize that it's a weekend. However, that's no excuse for this lack of help or informaton.

I see. So, the solution to fixing my problem was to replace ALL of my files with files from ONE YEAR AGO? Yah, thanks a lot powweb.

That's bs. It was a CGI Error. Not a "DELETE ALL FILES AND USE ONES FROM A YEAR AGO!"

Damnit.
