I know that you go to "Tools", "Internet Options", "General", and "Clear History". But, even after I've done that, set the days to keep history to zero and and everything, I still have certain websites that are not in my favorites showing up in the Auto Address feature. Any idea of how I can rid of those?

IE 6 is real weird about that sometimes. Keep repeating the process right after another about three times. Close all browser windows. Open one IE window. Click on the History button so that the left sidebar appears. See if you have any sites listed.
Do that until the left sidebar doesn't show any sites. That should work.

No no...it does delete it from the History. BUT...you know the Auto Complete feature? Where when you type, for instance, "p" and it will give you all the websites it has saved that start with a "p". When I do THAT, it is giving me websites that I don't want in there. It has always worked before for them to disappear when I delete the History, but it's not now. But, those websites don't appear in the History on the left side bar...just on the Auto Complete, which sounds even more strange.

You could always just disable auto complete in the address bar alltogether.

lol, yeah.
Ok, I appreciate your help anyway...I'm guessing there's nothing else I can do. Thanks again. :)
Try Tools... Internet Options... Content... Auto Complete... Clear Forms. Then restart the computer.
Also try Start button... All Programs... Accessories... System Tools... Disk Cleanup. The restart the computer.

IE and MS in general never really delete anything, they just delete the pointers to those files untill they are overwriiten that is how the FBI can access all that naughty porn that was supposidly deleted
IE history is held in hidden files and the best way to remove this hidden junk is with something like cyberscrub, you get to choose at what level of removal you want, the higheset apparently can defeat the best fbi data retrieval
Other IE info is held in the registrry, last pages etc, and can be removed from there, can't quite remember where it is actually stored but since cyberscrub does such a good job i would go with that product

The MRU Blaster didn't work...it removed files, but didn't do anything to IE.
HOWEVER, CyberScrub DID clear out everything in IE that had been remaining there even after I deleted Cookies, Temp. Int. Files and History. So, I'm guessing that it FULLY removed it from the computer, correct? How does it do that anyway...I mean, does it remove all the History and Temp files EVERYWHERE so that they are completely inaccessible? That's what it sounded like you were saying. I just wanted to get a good, full cleanup...plus that stuff was just really annoying me since I was deleting those things and it still remained. So, it's FULLY removed now?
Thanks for the suggestions. :)
