I couldn't upload any files because the server said I had used up all my space. I knew my site wasn't that big but in OPS it said I was using 850 megs of space. NO WAY!!! So used my ftp program and found that the log files were using 500 megs of space. ????????? How does this happen and how can I avoid this in the future. I deleted all the logs and it doesn't seem to affect the site but I'm not sure about that. Did I screw up or what and am I going to have to monitor the log files continuously? This happened in just a day or so as I did my last update 2 or 3 days ago and had 315 megs used. Then today found the 850.

Under normal circumstances, PowWeb would automatically roll over the logs on a daily basis, zipping up a week's worth and then deleting older versions. So it should manage itself pretty well.

For reasons yet unexplained, the log rollovers haven't happened since 9/30, leading to logs growing and growing. If you have a very active site, you will need to watch this until PowWeb fixes the problem.
