Whats my "mySQL Database Server" ?

I am installing Ikonboard, and there is a point in the install that asks:

Your mySQL Database Server [ Required ] .

In my Powweb control panel, it indicates the server is:

mysql02.powweb.com

When I input this info into the installer, I get this error message:

mySQL connection error: Unknown MySQL Server Host 'mysql02.powweb.com ' (1)

What am I missing? Thanks in advance! :)

Never used Ikonboard so I cannot help you with that . . . but the server identified in OPS . . . mysql02.powweb.com . . . sounds right. So I suspect your problem is elsewhere in the setup.

Nothing on the announcement board yet. I and a lot of others are having problems too.

It eventually accepted "mysql02.powweb.com" , but then their were 29 (!) errors. I just decided to abort the whole thing.

Thanks for the replies. Sometimes it is very difficult to get help!
