View Full Version : Fire in the darkness - black background & red text
Hello everybody,
My website (http://danton.org)'s theme is "Fire in the darkness" so I use red text and black background. What do you think of it?
Any other remarks?
Ulysse
Its nice, Red & Black go together, even in dreamweaver color scheme you have a similar combination ...
Somehow I didnt like the text (font) .. the size seems to be big, try using verdana size 2 bold ... it would give a better look, rest it upto you.
One more thing - there is a typo on index page :p ..
Last update: 13 octobre, 2003 ...change Octobre to October.
I think in Montréal, they do spell it Octobre...
Oh! .... is that so?
"This person who cannot spell a word differently lacks creativity" :p .... lol
Thanks for the posts!
I'll think of the font size. Actually, I use different font sizes (bigger fonts to put emphasis on some topics/phrases).
As for the spelling, I believe that both are correct, however, I have to admit that October is much more frequent than Octobre...
Any other remarks about the site are welcome!
Ulysse

I agree about the font size. Maybe you can do something else to attract attention to those topics you feel are really important. If it's really clean, then you'll definitely get people to stay.
good job. Like the red and black

I do like the way that it looks, but it is hard on my eyes. This is just my own opinion, and I do not have perfect vision to begin with.....
