I just purchased bot the above programs, Does anyone know of a good online tutorial or help site for them? The help provided with the software is pretty basic.

I have found this one to be helpful for not only flash but many programs that deal with web development.

I personally don't use either program, but I hear http://flashkit.com is a good resource for flash.

hello:
here are some links for flash:
Flash Magazine (http://www.flashmagazine.com/flash.htm)
Some sample tutorials (http://www.cbtcafe.com/flash/index.html) (both Flash and DW4)
Action Scripts (http://www.actionscripts.org/)
as for dw4, this site (http://beta.peachpit.com/vqs/73430/links/ch01plain.html) shows a lot of links, but i've never gone to any of them.
i use dw4 and fireworks mostly, although i have a little flash on my site, so i can't really attest to the plethora (or lack thereof) on these sites. i've just bookmarked them to remind myself of something i need to learn.
i also have the visual quickstart guides for dw4 and flash5 (as well as fireworks4), and i've found those to be invaluable reference books--and not too expensive either.
hope this helps.

Thank you all for the quick response :) Great resources.
I would also check on the Macromedia Website frequently. They have a couple tutorials and also provide several user groups. These groups are very active and I found a lot of useful advice there.
Google.com http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&group=macromedia.dreamweaver has a message archive for macromedia products. This is a very convenient way to find answers to problems.
The Dreamweaver Bible and Flash Bible are two very good books. Both available at Amazon for $ 34 each.
Good luck,
Joanne
