Well, I find the Powweb mysql server always give connection errors since I joined Powweb. OK, as a serious web site and administrator, I am willing to pay more for a more stable and reliable services to save the reputation of my site and myself.

I started to ask myself to think seriously if I should have a switch plan soon.

My site that is on quasar and using MySQL02 is down. My front page is PHP and I'm getting errors. It is set to 755 (chmod). When I went to my FTP awhile ago though it looked like it had been set to something else. I don't know how though because I wasn't the one that made the change!

Resetting it to 755 did not fix the problem. Although I am not getting the 'site cannot be found' type of error anymore, I am getting the following now...

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: message_die() in /www/l/lmobus/htdocs/db/db.php on line 88

Everything was perfectly fine yesterday though!

no worries buddy, it is not your chmod, that is the error that tells you that your site cannot connect to the database.

you can verify it by going into your ops, and clicking on your mysql tab, it will tell you that it cannot cobnnect there too ;)

Current details about the errors I am receiving:

Sites: http://www.operationbonjovi.com and http://www.lisam.biz

One is on meteor, the other is on quasar. The pages that require MySQL (php content managers, message boards, etc.) are not working.

The permissions are currently set to 755. *I just checked them*.

I was getting the 500 Internal Server Error on LisaM.biz, so I checked and made sure that the CHMOD was set properly. It wasn't. I reset them to 755 and I now get the following error on http://www.lisam.biz (which is all PHP):

Ughh, same here. I've been a member for a month and have noticed this problem approximately 3 or 4 times now! It's one thing if it's late at night, but during lunch is NOT good!!!!
