Io is a web server, not a MySQL server. Which MySQL server are you on?
I'm on mysql03 and it's running fine.

Your mySQL database xdata is hosted on PowWeb's server io.powweb.com run mysqld version 4.0.12-log. Your database users and privileges are shown below. All changes are made in real time.

Most dbs are on the new system rather than the legacy servers, like yours is.
If you can access the MySQL tab in OPS, then the MySQL service usually isn't down.

"Unable to connect to MySQL server on io.powweb.com" this is the error I get in the "OPS"

i have the same problem, my ops seems to be ok, but unless i've been hacked or ddos'd( which i don't believe as i still have access to my site just the sql is down)
i can't imagine that i've used up all my sql queries on all 3 of my usernames, and i just updated my stats and there is not a chance in heck that i used up all my queries

B. It's 50,000 sites, actually.
C. The forum isn't the place to get technical support, support@powweb.com is.
D. If you do post problems here, no one can help you if you do not include a domain name.
E. We've notified admins, so they will be taking a look at MySQL on io. It looks like it's been restarting itself every 15 minutes since earlier this morning, so there may be a problem with a user's queries.
It should be back up soon.

In most business practices the client is always right!:D
I don't need you telling me about A,B,C,D big deal!
I pay you to carry out your part of the deal which is to run a web server that is reliable. You push people to the edge, and what do you expect?

Ouch! You are the source the problems not me or any other client! In most business practices the client is always right!:D Yes, in most businesses the customer is always right. And as far as most things are concerned, the customer is always right here as well.
But I'm sure you understand that this is not most businesses, it is a specialized and unusual business, and there are many times in this particular business when the customer is wrong (usually inadvertently, sometimes not) and does something to stop a web server or a database server or a mail server.
When you see posts here for web server or MySQL server outages, 99% of the time that is due to a process consuming most or all of the resources on the server. Users create those processes with their web site code. When a user's code causes a process to go awry and slows or stops a server, all we can do is respond. We cannot proactively monitor all the code running on all the servers to make sure it is error-free.
So I'm not sure what you mean in this specific case when you say the customer is always right. If you are suggesting that it was not a customer's code that brought down the MySQL database on io, I can assure you that it was.
