okay i just set up 4images this morning, and it asks for my Imagemagick path...what do i put in? I read a previous thread that you put in "/usr/local/bin" but that doesnt seem to work. All i get is the red-x's.
This is what 4images asks:
"If you have selected "ImageMagick" or "NetPBM", enter path and program name"
Any ideas guys? The help is thoroughly appreciated :)

/usr/local/bin
This is the path to use for ImageMagik.
You might try getting "netpbm" binaries and uploading them to your webspace.

okay so when it asks for the program name also, i still only have to put "/usr/local/bin" in the field? Not write Imagemagick; /usr/local/bin or something like that. Sorry for all of the questions...this is my first time with an image gallery

In the setup choose ImagMagiK and I believe in a seperate text box you would put the path.
/usr/local/bin

hmmm no luck so far :( but thanks for the help! I submitted to support as well about my issue hehe...and unfortunately all of the 4images support is in dutch! lol...
I havent changed the DNS to powweb yet, so all of this gallery stuff is on the temporary URL right now. I dont know if that makes a difference or not...hmm i will keep playing around and keep ya updated!
Thanks SOOO much for replying though :)

I havent changed the DNS to powweb yetThis could easily be your problem.....
Many scripts wont work if you don't have DNS pointed to powweb servers or trying to access them with temp url.
I tried reading the install instructions for 4Images, but that didn't do anything but give me a headache.
I'm not sure what it is wanting for "program name", but as Alpha stated the path to ImageMagiK is /usr/local/bin Have you tried inputing /usr/local/bin/ImageMagiK ???
If you can't get this one up and running for you, you might want to take a look at Gallery (http://gallery.menalto.com/) It's not hard to get up and running and there's lots of users on the forum that can help.
<EDIT>
I don't think you can run 4Images while still using your Temp URL!! You'll most likely be better off waiting for your DNS to propogate.
