Hi There;
I just saw all the back up powweb has provided us that very good but something is bothering me; whole my website is MySQL driven and I have a forum with 60,000 posts but the newest back up which is for 28/10/2003 (today) is just about 5 megabyte, I haven't downloaded it but I am sure my database is more than 60 megabyte!!! whatz up?!:)

I'm not aware that PowWeb does backups of the MySQL databases at all. Where are you seeing this backup whose file you say has changed? Are you perhaps doing this backup yourself somehow?

it should be right, dmp file's size is about 60 meg.;)

another question about bandwidth:

Your Package allows 65GB's of transfer within a 30 day period. Your total HTTP transfer for the last 30 days is 39394.2291 MBs (38.47 GBs).

this is what i got in HTTP tab is that 100% accurate?
38.47 GBs bandwidth seems a bit too much for my website (60,000 unique/month 1,500,000 hits per month).

It's impossible to say without an analysis of the access logs, but it doesn't sound unreasonable. As a comparison, for the site I track the best, PowWeb tells me that the usage is 561.3343MB over 30 days, and my own stats say 689.81MB over 27 days, so if anything, the PowWeb value is low.

are you using any other stat manager or what ever they call it nowadays?
what is it?
