Hi all,

Is it possible to add a "out off office" feature to the web mail ? Even if we use forwarding ?

It will be a great enhancement.

By the way, the new web mail interface is very good.

Regards,

Yuri

I am not sure what you mean with your "out of office indicator" question.

Are you talking about autoresponders? If so, we do not support this feature yet, but hope to w/in the next 30 - 45 days.

Sincerely,

Yuri

Hi,

You're right, I was talking about the auto responder feature.

But having it in the next 2 months is a good thing !

Yuri

Do you support autoresponder yet?

Seems the correct answer is NM's, "not at this time"...

The dateline on Starr's post was November, last year :)

If you look again, Stars answer is dated not last year but 2001. Guess it’s not coming.

Well...Starr answered your question.

Until yesterday I would have answered "not at this time"...that shows the ongoing work from the powweb admins.

I am glad this feature will be introduced.

Good Job!

Thanks for pointing out Symo and Metro. I don't know what the ... nmsupplies is talking about.

Now do ya'll see why developers hate giving an ETA on things? :D

It's precicely for this reason.... when asked about it, they know they're interested in doing something with it... but they are still working on it. Sometimes though problems come up... bugs are found, and other priorities take hold of getting things done.

Since 11/01, you might have noticed many different changes at PowWeb.... moving to a new datacenter, upgrading to a fiber network, increasing bandwidth along with disk space and e-mail accounts at least three seperate times... introducing and spending time upgraing their OPS Control Panel... the list goes on and on.

I'm sure they still have an interest in doing something with autoresponders, but sometimes priorities change. I'm sure it will eventually roll out though. :)

Thanks for understanding.

Well, I think MM saw your question and did not notice the original question was from 11/01 and was just super glad to see that. I had to look twice. Either way I think the 30-45 days are up & we do not have an auto responder. But who knows what the future holds. We have been surprised before. :D

Hey Rob, I guess I'm a slow typer, Your answer was not there when I sent this.:o
