it worked - but now nothing new

awstats does update when I click update now - but not when it is scheduled to according to my crontab file:
0 9 * * * /www/g/girsch/cgi-bin/awstats.pl -config=www.avenuebdesign.com -update >>/www/g/girsch/logs/cronaw.log 2>>/www/g/girsch/logs/cronaw.err

(all in one line with two blank lines after)

What is usually wrong in a case like this?

I do have an .htacces file and I am not sure how this affects things. the tutorial file:

Mention the htacess - but I am not sure exactly what file I am supposed to paste the code in. Or if I should.

I have the same problem. I can update now but it wont update itself. So today I installed awstats on a buddies domain. I used the same files as mine except I changed the parts that reflected his domain and it works perfectly. I was wondering if the dash in my name was causing a prob. ie www.jimmie-ikon.com

Wish I had an answer but thought I would let ya know your not alone. =(

scratch that about my friends updating automatically. It seemed like it was but now it isnt with no changes made. Can still update manually.
