Check Line #210 of your .conf:
DirIcons="/icon"
It should read as above if you have it under htdocs/icon. If under another dir, ex. htdocs/dir/icon then the Line #210 should look like:
DirIcons="/dir/icon"
Also check CHMOD of icons directory to 755 and htdocs to also 755.
i have checked and all permission are set to 755
the icon dir is under htdocs....
strange thing though....ONE image is being displayed
and it has the same permission as the rest!
PS. stupid question... what editor do you use that lets you see the line number? I use Dreamweaver....but it can cause problems like adding "<body>" tags at the end of the script.

I know that CuteHTML has line numbers which makes it easier, but that takes all the fun out of debugging! ;)
Eureka.... I found the problem. for some reason it created the directories for the image files but did not upload the images themselves except for one! DUH.
Now I have one last bug:
Warning: Can't find language files for "en". English will be used.
right now it is set in "auto" which should use english. I tried using "en" but still same error message.

Did you upload the awstats "lang" folder to your cgi-bin directory?
Smart Ftp was not that smart after all. It created directories and uploaded the first file on top. Thats it.
I manually uploaded everything left and all is well.
The issues are now resolved.
Thanks to all who posted replies!

Strange, I used Smart FTP to upload my AWStats and it uploaded all in a flash (even though I am on 56k) and without any issues.
Glad to hear you got it though! =D

Ditto, I've used SmartFTP for about 6 months, had no problems.
The only thing was I uploaded my AWS config file in ASCII and forgot to set the transfer mode back to binary before uploading the images and had to do it all again.
That was my fault though. Other than that no problems with AWS or powweb!:)
