It is now 9:50PM ET and I am unable to connect to my sql. On the powweb OPS panel, I am getting the following message:

Unable to connect to MySQL server on mysql02.powweb.com

I cannot connect directly through my websites either.

Yeah, I know LOL My subject line reads "MySQL02 Down Again"...

I hope they fix it soon AND permanently. This is the umpteenth time this week that it has gone down!

Take a look at the "Getting Started" forum regarding the www03.powweb.com..... seems that all the "non legacy" servers are down....

I get www09.

Something must have broken.

I am sure it will be back soon.

I can't even get through on the phone line. I waited, then got a general message say that all Custome Svc. reps were busy and that I should email powweb. I've done that already, but I wanted to talk to a human.

So much for a 'perfect hosting solution'. I guess I should just expect a 'your site is working fine now' message in 2 days or so. Of course, in 2 days it will be working, but it isn't working now. Irritating.

Yeah, I am on that and yet again down for me...

why in the heck are we giving them money? and to think I just renewed again {sigh}

if I would have known I was going to experience this type of problem, I think I honestly would have gone elsewhere... I believe uptime was suppose to be at like 99.9% assurance or something like that?

and for anyone who dare state "only for www.madd74.com type serive not MySQL or the like", check the stats on my site and see when I get absolutely NO traffic due to my whole SITE being down

:D

Ha!! You get better than me, I do not even get that recording when I attempt to talk to someone live... I get something about busy, and before I know, I am disconnected...

Cannot use what I do not know exists :D

Can we get thru that number or does it get the same busy problem? I would assume the circuit rides on the same number...

...but I work for the phone company, what do I know? :D

I assume it does ride the same circuit...I wouldn't think they'd bring in another POTS line just for a toll-free...

:D

hahaha, yeah, I do...

however, as I think we have agreed to, since it is most likely one POTS line (with some sort of queuing system I would imagine) I would think the same err with getting cut off would occur. Of course, I would not use cell minutes for the LD call (not that I have to worry about that).

How nice it is to admin a 3Com NBX VOIP system rather than the outdated PBX systems. :D

PBX may be outdated, but wow are there a lot out there... some even non-designed!!

Of course, there are still 1E switches also... wow hehe (i'll stick with 5E and DMS100)
