Possible to track hits on a given day for a given file?

I would like to know how many hits a certain file gets on a certain day. Awstats seems to summarize the whole month. I am missing something or is this not a feature of awstats?

Actually any month. I just want to know how many people visited a certain page yesterday. But when I go to that pages, it just gives me the whole month total for that page.

If you want details . . . you need the history . . . not summary data. To do that you need to backup the history from the Powweb logs ( they only keep 8 days of detail).

Then you can analyze all you want. If you use the analyzer mentioned in the thread . . . you read in the logs for what ever days you want to analyze and you will get all the detail you need.

Most stat scripts do not keep the detail data. They create a summary analysis and the detail data is lost forever.
